How is Solara installed? Are cover plates included?

Solara wall lights are installed with hardwired wall mounting.
Each unit includes a free 4'' x 4'' cover plate that is optional to use during installation. Our installation instructions can be found here, as well as the installation video here. These wall lights are versatile and can be mounted on various wall or panel types.

Please note that the electrical mounting and wiring can be customized both in the middle and at the ends of the unit, with enough length to reach both sides from the middle to ensure easy installation. If you need to extend the wires beyond half the length of the unit, please fill out the contact form for customization options for your Haylen.

Are Solara lights for indoor or outdoor use? Can I install them horizontally?

Solara wall lights are primarily designed for outdoor use, but many of our customers also install them indoors.
With an IP65 waterproof rating, these lights are protected from rain, snow and moisture, ensuring longevity and durability.

While many customers install multiple Solara units vertically at their entrances, some choose to install them horizontally. There are no strict guidelines - get creative and arrange them however you like!

Is Solara dimmable? Can I replace the LED light if necessary?

Absolutely! Our dimmable feature is conveniently controlled via the included remote control. Customize your lighting ambience to suit any mood or occasion by choosing from three color temperatures: Warm White (3000K), Neutral White (4500K) and Cool White (6000K). With our latest Solara upgrade (as of May 15, 2024), you'll enjoy the added feature of a state-of-the-art memory function that ensures your favorite settings are effortlessly recalled every time you turn it on.

The LED strip light for your Solara wall light is replaceable. You can buy replacement LEDs from us and if you need help replacing them, please feel free to contact us.

Can I customize Solara LED wall lights?

Of course! We are happy to offer customization of the Haylen wall lights, but opened box items cannot be customized. If you would like to customize color, width or cord length, please fill out the CONTACT US form to consult one of our customer service specialists. Note that custom orders are bespoke and therefore non-returnable. Note: Haylen can also be customized to include solar power, dusk sensors, plug types and dimmer switch compatible options. However, a minimum order quantity may be required or additional costs may apply. Please consult with us before ordering if you would like specific customization!
